My very very first painting EVER! My personal take of an imperial Guardsman. This is like the first non black and white work in my gallery! Gotta admit I really SUCK at digital painting and this is well, my first humble attempt :) I've been trying hard to improve on my painting skills so any criticism or tips, really ANYTHING is greatly appreciated beforehand!!



Photoshop CS5 for god knows how long, no reference.

lets face it theirs at least a few thousand hive worlds in the imperium and since its something like 20% of the populae have to join the guard were already into the trillions of laser pointers aimed at the enemy. that's just impressive to me

Would've been nice if one the bottom of the list it would say something like:

i think even they know that but dont care, only because its eaither fight the hords of orks,or chaos ect. or they can face the comissar, i think they rather take their chances with the orks.

This is great.
The size of the armour is off, but I can imagine these guys aren't wearing the standard Cadian armour and are wearing a homemade variant.
